100% RECOMMENDED. I usually use the Sugaring Paste Luxury Pro – Organic Hair Removal -HARD. - I think it is important because it is easier to manipulate; it is essential to note that the skin has to be clean and dry. Also, the ambient can not be too hot; otherwise, the paste will melt faster than usual in your hand because of the corporal temperature. After trying for two years, I realized with time that all this affected the great experience of the product. I took it some on vacations and even did it to my cousins, who loved it!My overall experience has been excellent compared to other brands I used before, and I used to go to Sugaring LA, but thank God I learned. :)If you’re new to waxing yourself in general please take the plung and buy this product. I was nervous when I first started because I didn’t want to spend this much but I’m so glad I did. I wax every 4 weeks and I bought this tub june 2021 and I’m maybe halfway through it. It’s such a good value and so easy to use!! Just look up some YouTube videos and grab some baby powder. The only complaint I have is how hard it is to remove from the jar and overtime the sugar begins to have a weird consistency on the top so you either have to scoop it out first or douse it in baby powder to let it soak.I won't share the photos here because I think they are a bit graphic, but I bruised and bloodied myself with this product for the first hour of use. I wasn't pulling straight up either, it just absolutely tore up my skin. I am sensitive so I'm not complaining, I am instead giving a warning to beginners. Use wax strips if you can, I did my one leg without strips and ended up looking like my leg got run over. With the wax strips though, my other leg looks a bit less like I get beat for fun and more just red and blotchy. It comes off with just straight water though which is super nice. I've used honey wax before and that was a disaster. I mean this was also a bit of a disaster but at least the mess was way easier to clean up. It's satisfying and not painful when you use wax strips as well, with just the quick pull at an angle method, it definitely burns and lingers. I decided not to risk my bikini line or armpits and just did my legs. The price isn't bad for how much you get, which is really nice, and the wax is reusable until it becomes warm and sticky. Which was like 3 uses per glob of wax for me. I recommend it to non-beginners, and beginners only if you purchase wax strips along with it. It also has pretty much no scent and is easy to clean up with just water. Basically to beginners, know what you are getting yourself into before purchasing.I’ve tried to make it myself many times and cannot get the consistency down. Bought this and tried with whatever gloves I had on hand and they stuck to the gloves haha so I must not have the right ones but then I just used my bare hand and it worked great. I did watch videos but this was my first time trying with store bought paste and it worked great. I used the medium and did my legs in a very quick time. I first put some cornstarch on my legs before starting. Pleasantly surprised with how well this worked for me! Will definitely bug again.A bit of a learning curve but that’s more of a reflection of my skills and not the product. The product itself is great. No need to heat up in the microwave, the body heat from your fingers will work just fine. Remove from your body with cold water - you’ll thank me later. As is saying on instruction:you need to remove a lid if you trying to warm it up in microwave. And of course I did it wrong and it turn to be but watery from vaporizing and less stickyBut overall it’s great , still workingAnd my personal advice always use a disposable gloves if you have a sweaty handsThis was my first time sugaring but I wanted to try it cuz I’ve been so sick of shaving.Cons:-this stuff is pretty difficult to use but I imagine that’s because I’d never done it before. Watching a YouTube tutorial helped a ton!! It gets really sticky to the point where I couldn’t use it after a few times.-I went through probably a little less than a third of the tub to get all my legs, and I had to do it over the course of multiple days because it was so time consuming. But again that’s probably me not knowing what I’m doing.-it’s very difficult to get all of the hair in one go, I had to go over a lot of the same spots multiple times in order for it to be smooth. Especially in hard to get places like my knees and the backs of my legs.HOWEVER.Pros:-it lasts WAY longer than shaving! I waxed over a week ago and they still look good! They don’t quite feel as smooth but you still can’t see any hair growth nearly at all. So that to me is a huge pro in comparison to the cons!I have never waxed or sugared myself, let alone gotten a full Brazilian. However, I also hate shaving because I have thick hairs that become ingrown easily. Then I decided to get the hard paste because I was set on just trying because why not. After watching the recommended YT video, I exfoliated and waited the next day to start. I got a bunch of rice flour because I didn’t have baby powder or cornstarch, gloves, and alcohol etc.. used some utensil that wasn’t strong enough to help scoop the paste so I recommend using something strong. I made the mistake of just trying to scoop it out with my fingers and yeah I felt my life leave my body after I thought I ripped a nail off. Don’t do that.Overall experience took ten minutes for me for the sugaring. Surprisingly fast and not as painful as I thought it was going to be. I will say that my hair growth is pretty localized and not as spread out so maybe that made it easier. It’s been a month and there’s been growth but very fine and sparse. Highly recommend!
